Every item brought in for picture framing at Bass Rock Framing is different for every customer and will therefore require various treatments depending upon the type of art it is. We feel that your picture should be framed taking into consideration the individual item, your decor and budget.

Our GCF professional picture framer will often ask you if you know where your framed item is going to be hung and what your expectations are for the piece.  This helps us to build a profile of the surroundings in which the item will be hung, and in turn we can help you make an informed decision on the best choice of frame, mount and glazing for your item. All picture framing is carried out on the premises using the finest quality professional framing equipment.  We do not compromise on quality and aim to produce a product of the highest standard.

All work that is produced in our workshop is personally overseen by Aishling Taylor GCF - a Guild Commended Framer for The Fine Art Trade Guild.
Your artwork will never leave the premises. We specialise in Preservation picture framing, also know as conservation, archival, acid-free or museum quality picture framing, is the use of materials and techniques that help protect against the effects of sunlight and pollutants that yellow, fade and damage your artwork. This doesn't necessarily have to cost the earth and we try to work to our customers individual budget.

We carry a large range of chevron samples to aid you in your framing choice….from the simple little black numbers, perfect for certificates to the big stylish ones when you want your work of art to make a big statement!  Alternatively if you have something in mind which we don’t normally carry….we will be happy to source it for you.
 
We provide no obligation quotes and are happy to offer discount on bulk orders.  We aim to turn your framing work around inside 2 weeks….and that’s a promise!
